Download Release Candidate #3b of Download Demon (1/06/2001)

Download Demon is a handy utility used to grab files off of the internet. Rather than waiting for your files to download, simply drag all the links you'd like from the browser to Download Demon and then click Start Download. Download Demon (via its settings) will manage the downloads for you, so you no longer need to babysit your computer.

Fixes Made:

1. No longer necessary to enter any registration information (RC3b).
2. Recompiled with Visual C++ 6.0 to improve speed and shrink code (RC3a).
3. Improved stripping to work with more web pages (RC3).
4. Some people reported a few problems with registration (RC3).
5. Updated registration algorithm for more reliable results. All users who have registered have been sent updated codes (RC2).
6. Disconnect modem thread issue during program termination (rare) (RC1).
7. Stripping now works! This is *BIG* (Beta 5).
8. Can now specify a directory for files to go other than the default (Beta 5).
9. Began integration of stripping. Displays message box - it's weak, I know.
   This also fixed a potential memory corruption error (not weak) (Beta 4).
10. Can now double click an item to get it's properties (Beta 4).
11. Displays properly when horizonal scroll bar is used (Beta 3).
12. No longer GPF's when moving initial Registration Dialog (Beta 2).
13. If modems aren't used, the disconnect checkbox is hidden (Beta 2).
14. If modems aren't used, the Modem Settings Button is hidden (Beta 2).
